Mr. Yost
Mentor
Dawson Yost is the head coach for the Alluminators. This is his second year being involved with the team. His objective is to grow the team in member count, funds, and community involvement. He’s known for his enthusiasm, his sense of humor, and his inability to speak without using his hands.

Mr. Johnson
Mentor
Lindsey Johnson is a mentor for the Alluminators and a teacher at New Ulm High School. This is his second year being involved with the team. His objective is to help out with fabrication and using the machine tools to create a great robot.

Mr. Schotzko
Mentor
Mr. Schotzko is a mentor for the Alluminators and an employee of Big Ideas. This is his second year being involved with the team.

Mr. Miller
Mentor
I have been working with the team for the past 7 years now. Prior to being a mentor, I was on the team for 3 years as well. In addition to helping mentor the students with primarily programming and electrical assistance, I also volunteer for FTC — another FIRST program. I am an FTA for them which puts me in charge of ensuring all robots and the field are running smoothly during every match at Competition.

Mr. Todd
Mentor
Mr. Todd is a seventh-year mentor for team 3122. After seeing the passion and excitement from the team it became very easy to join this group and help in any way possible. “I’m an engineer, but not the kind that builds robots. This program is all about problem solving and putting theory into practice, and that is the core of all engineering.” His role as a mentor is to be a sounding board and make sure explosions are kept to a minimum.
