We would like to take some time and tell you a little bit about our organization. We are participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) for the 5th year. This organization’s goal is to provide the youth of today hands on engineering, computer and problem solving skills. FRC has about 51,000 students participating on about 2,550 teams mainly in the USA.

This year’s competition is to build a robot capable of playing a game similar to Frisbee Golf. The goal is to use your robot to score points by throwing Frisbees into goals that vary in distance from the ground and point value. You can also score bonus points by climbing up a 94” pyramid. We are choosing to tackle the pyramid obstacle as a game strategy.
